Jointly provided by and continuED Medical.
Intended Audience
This continuing medical education (CME) activity is developed for healthcare professionals, including but not limited to MDs, DOs, PAs, NPs, and RNs, seeking information to improve their skills and competency related to the practice of aesthetic medicine. The curriculum is designed for practitioners wishing to improve both their clinical skills and business acumen, with the goal of taking their practice to the next level.
Learning Objectives
After participating in activities associated with The Aesthetic Blueprint, participants should be able to:
- Implement into practice a comprehensive multi-modal three-dimensional (3D) approach to achieving an outstanding cosmetic outcome based on volume loss, structural changes, and subtle modifications of the different regions of the aging face;
- Explain Injector Anatomy and target areas for optimal facial enhancement;
- Identify injection “danger zones” of the face and approaches to both avoid and address complications;
- Show how treatment approaches differ between the female and male aesthetics patients through an in-depth understanding of anatomy and variations;
- Compare and contract injection techniques, product ‘personalities’ and strategic approaches to restoration and contouring the aging face;
- Demonstrate alternative approaches to off-the-face treatments including hand restoration, buttock (lift) enhancement, upper arm laxity, abdomen and chest creasing.
Statement of Need
The landscape of aesthetic medicine continues to change at a rapid rate. The shift to a more 3D focus is revolutionizing the practice of aesthetic medicine – thus creating great growth opportunities for practitioners willing to embrace this best practice approach. However, it is a major shift from traditional aesthetic dogma and strays from conventional principles and teaching.
We believe that traditional aesthetic training has failed to keep pace with the significant advances in new technology in aesthetic medicine. Our goal is to compress the learning curve so one can rapidly and more effectively incorporate new injection approaches, techniques, innovation, and products into practice with confidence and certainty. There is clearly an unmet educational need for more specialized and advanced training like The Aesthetic Blueprint.
To address these unmet educational needs, The Aesthetic Blueprint training initiative will conduct a series of 2.5-day nationwide training seminars. Each seminar comprises intense instruction that includes live lectures, hands-on training and clinical demonstrations. The seminars will be moderated by several well renowned aesthetic experts who will provide guidance and instruction throughout the course of the individualized training. The Aesthetic Blueprint training initiative will provide participants with the learning experience, hands-on training and follow-up resource to ensure successful implementation into clinical practice.
